Dama Gazelle Giant Sable Antelope Roosevelt Sable Antelope The Roosevelt Sable Antelope is a subspecies of the Sable Antelope from Kenya and Tanzania. It is a diurnal species, though it is less active during the hottest part of the day. Its massive horns have been known to kill lions, but the same horns that save them from predators attract hunters seeking trophies. Unfortunately, populations of all Sable Antelope have been affected by regional Tse-tse fly control programs.
